Emory Wright Named Executive Vice President at Align Technology

Emory Wright has been appointed as the Executive Vice President of the Direct Fabrication Manufacturing Platform by Align Technology. This news comes as the company continues to focus on scaling their next-generation manufacturing platform. Wright, who currently oversees global operations and treatment planning, will transition to leading the development of direct 3D printing capabilities.

Joe Hogan, President and CEO of Align Technology, praised Wright for his impact on both the company and the orthodontic industry. Hogan expressed excitement over Wright’s continued involvement in accelerating Align’s plans and extending their leadership in 3D printing. As part of his new role, Wright will also lead the development of the Invisalign Palatal Expander and future orthodontic and dental appliances until his retirement in 2026.

Srini Kaza, who has been with Align for 25 years, was recently promoted to Executive Vice President of Research and Development. Recognized as one of the leading innovators in clear aligner therapy, Kaza’s contributions to the Invisalign system have been significant. With Align’s recent acquisition of Cubicure, Kaza and his team are at the forefront of pioneering the next generation of 3D printing technologies that will influence clear aligner therapy in the future. Hogan commended Kaza on his promotion and expressed confidence in his ability to lead Align’s next phase of innovation in collaboration with Wright in his new role.
