New Executive Assistant at Little League: Michele Marquardt Brings a Diverse Background to the Role

Little League International has appointed Michele Marquardt as their new Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing and Business Relationship Officer. The announcement was made on May 13, 2024. Liz DiLullo Brown, the Chief Marketing and Business Relationship Officer at Little League, expressed excitement about the addition of Michele to the team. With her experience working for the Broward County Public School system and her strong organizational skills, Michele is expected to bring the team closer together and enhance the resources and experience for local leagues worldwide.

In her new role, Ms. Marquardt will be the administrative hub for the Marketing, Communications, and Philanthropy Departments. She will be responsible for a wide range of administrative and executive support tasks. Michele expressed gratitude for the opportunity to join Little League and is looking forward to contributing to the organization’s success. She is eager to work with the Philanthropy and Social Impact Department and Liz’s team to provide top-notch support and service.

Prior to joining Little League, Michele worked as an Executive Secretary in the Office of the Chief Auditor for Broward County Public Schools, which is one of the largest school systems in the United States. She also has experience in managing operations and financial functions for Valmax Corp, a distribution/export and logistics company in Miami, Florida. Furthermore, Michele has a background in sales support, client relations, customer service, and report development from her time as an Administrative/Executive Assistant at Barnett Bank, N.A. in Fort Lauderdale
