New Era for the Women’s Open: USGA Announces Future Locations through 2048

Future venues, locations, and years for the U.S. Women’s Open Golf Championship

The 79th U.S. Women’s Open will be held from May 30 to June 2 at Lancaster Country Club in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This year’s tournament marks the start of a new era for the Women’s Open, as the USGA has recently announced the future locations for the event through the year 2048.

The next Women’s Open will take place in 2025 at Erin Hills in Erin, Wisconsin, followed by Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California in 2026. In 2027, the tournament will be held at Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio, and in 2028 at Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pennsylvania.

Future locations also include Pinehurst Resort & Country Club in North Carolina, Interlachen Country Club in Minnesota, Oakland Hills Country Club in Michigan and various other prestigious courses around the country such as Los Angeles Country Club, Merion Golf Club, Pebble Beach Golf Links, Shinnecock Hills Golf Club and The Country Club.

The USGA has also designated several years as TBD (to be determined) for the Women’s Open locations. This announcement provides exciting opportunities for golf fans to follow the Women’s Open at different renowned courses across the United States over the coming years.
