New Director of Pro Scouting Joins Washington Commanders Front Office Amidst Management Overhaul

Commanders Building Up Front Office With More Additions

Adam Peters, the general manager of the Washington Commanders, is continuing to make changes to his front office staff. Recently, it was reported that Chris White has been hired as their new Director of Pro Scouting. White previously worked for the Chicago Bears for the past two seasons in various scouting roles before receiving a promotion in 2022.

Before joining the Bears, White played college football at Florida Atlantic University where he was an offensive lineman. Interestingly, White was teammates with former Washington running back Alfred Morris during his time at FAU. White brings a wealth of experience to his new role with the Commanders after working his way up through the ranks in Chicago over the past several years.

Since Peters took over as general manager in January, there have been several notable changes to the front office staff. Lance Newmark was brought in as Assistant General Manager, Martin Mayhew transitioned to a senior personnel executive/advisor role, Brandon Sosna was appointed Senior Vice President of Football Operations, and David Blackburn was named Director of Player Personnel. These hires have been officially announced on the team’s website.

Additionally, Stratton has reported that there have been other scouting hires made by Peters that have not yet been updated on the team’s website. It is evident that Peters is working diligently to reshape the front office and bring in new talent to support the Commanders’ goals moving forward. As the team continues to make changes and build for the future, it will be interesting to see how these new additions impact the organization.

It is clear that Adam Peters is committed to bringing fresh blood into his front office and making it more efficient in order to support Washington’s success on and off-the-field.

These hires are just one part of a larger plan by Peters to reshape his front office and bring in new talent that can help propel Washington forward into future successes.

It will be exciting to see how these new additions work together and what kind of impact they will have on Washington’s performance both now and in years to come.

The Commanders are building towards something big under Peter’s leadership and these hires could be key pieces in their journey towards success on and off-the-field.
