Barrow midfielder Sam Foley has just renewed his contract with the club until 2025. Over the past year, he has been a key player for the Bluebirds since joining in 2022, making an impressive 92 appearances in all competitions. During his 16-year football career, Foley has played in over 500 games in the EFL and National League, with stints at clubs like Newport, Yeovil Town, Port Vale, Northampton, and St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership.
Foley made his league debut for Yeovil Town in 2012 and had a successful career there, helping the team get promoted to the Championship in the 2012-13 season. He was named St Mirren’s player of the year during his time in Scotland and has shown his value both on and off the field.
