Sanjay Poonen, the CEO of Cohesity, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Craig Martell as their new Chief Technology Officer. Martell, who has won the Wash100 award twice, brings a wealth of experience to his new role.

During his time at the Department of Defense (DOD), where he served as Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Officer, Martell played a pivotal role as the inaugural leader of the DOD’s CDAO. He focused on advancing digital and AI strategies and policies within the organization. Prior to that, Martell held senior positions at Lyft, Dropbox, and LinkedIn where he led teams focused on machine learning, machine intelligence, and AI-related initiatives.
