New Chief Operations Officer Lori Gravelle Brings Decades of Healthcare Expertise to Greater Seacoast Community Health

New COO, Lori Gravelle, Joins Greater Seacoast Community Health

Lori Gravelle has been appointed as the new chief operations officer at Greater Seacoast Community Health. With over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her new role. Gravelle recently moved to the Seacoast region from upstate New York, where she started her career in healthcare.

In her previous roles, Gravelle has worked as director of compliance, quality, and risk management for a New Mexico community health center and as vice president for risk management and compliance for a large network of community health centers in upstate New York. She also has experience working as a physician practice compliance and credentialing officer.

Gravelle holds a master’s degree in business administration in healthcare management from Western Governors University and a graduate certificate in healthcare corporate compliance from George Washington University. She is passionate about improving access to high-quality care for rural, underserved, and vulnerable populations, as well as developing the healthcare workforce.

With the previous COO Jim Avrett now serving as the organization’s chief executive officer, Gravelle is excited to join the team at Greater Seacoast. Avrett expressed his enthusiasm for her appointment, citing her knowledge, experience, and impressive skills that will be crucial to the organization’s success. Gravelle has already made a positive impact on the organization’s operations and culture, demonstrating her commitment to advancing Greater Seacoast Community Health’s mission.
