New CEO for Dubai Duty Free: Ramesh Sidambi set to take over from Colm McLoughlin

After 41 years of brilliance, Colm McLaughlin steps down from leadership at Dubai Duty Free

Ramesh Sidambi, the current head of operations at Dubai Duty Free, will take over as the new CEO beginning June 1, 2024. This move comes after Colm McLoughlin, Vice Chairman and CEO of Dubai Duty Free, announced his decision to step down from his role on May 31, 2024. McLoughlin played a pivotal role in Dubai Duty Free’s growth into the largest duty-free shop in the world.

Sidambi has had a long and successful career at Dubai Duty Free and has held various senior positions within the organization. Salah Tahlak, who is currently Joint Chief Operating Officer, will assume the role of Executive Vice President at Dubai Duty Free. In response to this announcement, McLoughlin expressed his gratitude to Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum and the entire Dubai Duty Free team for their support throughout his career. He credited the team’s dedication for the success of the organization and expressed confidence in the leadership of Sidambi and Tahlak as they move forward.
