New blood on the defense: Tennessee Titans consider adding UFL standout Breeland Speaks to boost their offensive line

Report: Titans Showing Interest in UFL Defensive End Breeland Speaks

The Tennessee Titans are in urgent need of additional help on their offensive line and have reportedly turned their attention to an option from the United Football League (UFL). According to AtoZ Sports’ Mike Payton, the Titans, along with the Carolina Panthers, have expressed interest in Michigan Panthers edge rusher, Breeland Speaks.

Speaks was named the UFL’s Defensive Player of the Year and made the All-UFL Team in 2024 after recording a league-leading 9.5 sacks. A former second-round draft pick of the Kansas City Chiefs in 2018, Speaks played in 16 games in his rookie season but has not seen any NFL action since then.

The Titans recently lost defensive end Denico Autry to the Houston Texans and have yet to find a suitable replacement for him. Additionally, the team’s depth options at this position remain uncertain at present. Speaks would be a valuable addition to the team if he can earn a spot on their roster and contribute to their defensive line’s current situation.

In summary, it is clear that the Titans are actively looking to bolster their offensive line and Speaks could be a valuable addition to their team. He offers much-needed depth and talent to their roster.
