New Beginnings: Cambridge Science Centre Brings STEM Joy to Kids in New Home on the Science Park

Charity focused on STEM education relocates to new office at Cambridge Science Park

The Cambridge Science Centre, a charity dedicated to promoting STEM education, has recently moved to a new home on the Cambridge Science Park. The centre aims to inspire children to explore and enjoy science, engineering, technology, and mathematics through interactive experiments and installations. CEO John Bull emphasized the importance of making science fun and joyful for kids who may not see themselves as future scientists.

Children visiting the centre can engage in hands-on exhibits covering a wide range of STEM topics, from AI to zoology. Six-year-old Cosmo, who visited the centre with his school, described his experience as “pretty fun” and enjoyed playing with the gears. Science communicator Mario Satchwell highlighted the joy of watching children learn and discover new things through science.

The centre’s new location within the Trinity Centre on the Science Park provides an opportunity to be surrounded by cutting-edge STEM companies and provide a unique experience for children. This move is especially important for children facing barriers to accessing science education. CEO John Bull stressed the importance of igniting young minds and encouraging children to envision a future in science through engaging experiences. With this new location, the Cambridge Science Centre hopes to continue inspiring young people to pursue careers in STEM fields while having fun along the way.
