B&B Theatres, the fifth-largest movie theater chain in the U.S., is set to open its latest location at the American Dream mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This new addition to their portfolio will feature a 270-degree panoramic viewing experience thanks to ScreenX, a three-wall format developed by CJ 4DPlex, Korea’s leading cinema technology company.
The ScreenX auditorium at the American Dream mall will be B&B’s first location in New Jersey and will offer an impressive range of amenities for moviegoers. The room will feature an 80-foot-wide center screen and side walls measuring 82 feet each, creating a total of 242 feet of viewing range. With this setup, viewers can enjoy a fully immersive cinematic experience that expands traditional movie screenings onto the side walls of the auditorium.
ScreenX is not just about watching movies; it’s about experiencing them. It offers a unique opportunity for audiences to step into the world of their favorite films and be part of the action. With ScreenX, viewers can see everything from sweeping landscapes to intense action scenes in stunning detail and clarity. They can also interact with other viewers during live events and concerts hosted at MetLife Stadium, which is located next to the mall.

Liberty MO-based B&B plans to operate eight screens at the American Dream, including multiple bowling lanes, an arcade, food and beverage options including a restaurant and full-service bar.
