A new service has been announced at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport for Southwest Airlines customers. This service allows passengers to check their bags at the economy garage, which is located at 900 Airline Drive. The economy garage is just a 15-minute shuttle ride away from the airport and is open 24/7, providing 2,438 parking spaces for travelers.
As of 10:10 a.m. on Friday, only 111 spaces were available in the garage, as all other parking lots were at full capacity during the busy Fourth of July holiday weekend, according to the airport’s website. This means that Southwest Airlines customers looking for a convenient and efficient way to check their bags before their flight will have to make use of this new service.
The baggage check-in at the economy garage is available from 4 a.m. to noon, and passengers are required to check their bags at least two hours before their flight. This new service will certainly be welcomed by Southwest Airlines customers who want a hassle-free experience when traveling through the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.
