Charles Mixon, a seasoned professional with a background in capital markets and alternative investments, has joined Swiss Re as Senior Business Development Manager for its Alternative Capital Partners (ACP) division. With extensive experience in various roles related to insurance-linked securities (ILS), Mixon brings valuable expertise to the team.
Prior to his new role at Swiss Re, Mixon held Managing Director positions at Cohen & Company Asset Management and Neuberger Berman, where he focused on ILS. He also has experience in global private equity and private equity investments from his time at Cartesian Group and insurer AIG. Mixon spent over two years at Cohen & Co. and over nine years at Cartesian Re and Neuberger Berman, where he held Managing Director roles.
Mixon’s new role within the ACP division of Swiss Re signifies his commitment to furthering the company’s initiatives in alternative capital and ILS. His expertise in both capital raising and investment operations will be valuable to the team as they work to develop innovative solutions for their clients.
