New Thai restaurant, dessert spot, sports bar, and South Florida cafe now open for business

In the Southside neighborhood of Berkeley, a new coffee franchise Qargo has opened its first location. Originally based out of Miami, Qargo offers a range of hot and cold tea and coffee drinks made with imported Italian Lavazza coffee, as well as European-style pastries. This new cafe is just the beginning, as more Qargo locations are expected to open in the East Bay in the near future. Meanwhile, on Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley, a new establishment Cali’s Sports Bar & Kitchen/Club Cali has opened its doors. Located in the former Pappy’s and Blake’s location, Cali’s offers a menu full of pizza, sandwiches, burgers, wings, and a variety of beer and cocktails to choose from. In addition to these new additions to Berkeley’s food scene is Rose La Moon Thai street food and dessert shop that has set up shop in the former Quince Cafe space on San Pablo Avenue.
