New addition to Cleveland Browns defensive line: A look at Mike Hall Jr.’s potential and role on the team.

Mike Hall Jr. signs with Browns as second round pick

The Cleveland Browns have officially signed all six of their draft picks, including defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr., who was selected in the second round as the 54th overall pick. Hall signed a four-year deal with the team and is likely to feel right at home in Cleveland, where he grew up and played college football at Ohio State.

During his time at Ohio State, Hall recorded 45 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, six sacks, and a fumble recovery in 28 games. He will now be part of a competitive group of defensive tackles vying for playing time on the Browns’ interior defensive line. This includes veteran players such as Shelby Harris, Dalvin Tomlinson, and Quinton Jefferson, as well as rookies like Maurice Hurst and Siaki Ika. Additionally, seventh-round pick Jowan Briggs will also be competing for playing time on the team.

With this mix of experience and potential, the Browns’ interior defensive line looks set to be a strong and versatile unit for the upcoming season.
