New Ace on Defense: Justin Jones Ready to Take on NFL Challenges in 2024

Countdown to Cardinals vs. Bills season opener: 93 days

The Arizona Cardinals are eagerly anticipating the start of the 2024 NFL season, with their opening game against the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. This season, newcomer Justin Jones, who wears the No. 93 jersey, is expected to make a significant impact as a defensive lineman. Signed to a three-year free agent deal during the offseason, Jones is known for his abilities against both the run and as a pass rusher, having recorded 4.5 sacks and 17 quarterback hits in 2023.

While the Cardinals have had other notable players wear the No. 93 jersey, such as Calais Campbell, Kyle Vanden Bosch, and Mark Smith, Jonathan Ledbetter was the most recent to leave a lasting impact on the team. During his time with the team, Ledbetter developed into an every-game starter and made an impact on the field with 46 tackles and 1.5 sacks in his final season. Sadly, Ledbetter tore his ACL at the end of last season and is currently unsigned.
