New A-TEK CTO Brings Decades of Cloud Strategist Expertise to Government IT Services

Crystal Hair appointed as Chief Technology Officer at A-TEK

Kathryn Freeland, the CEO of A-TEK, announced on Monday that Crystal Hair, a cloud strategist with almost twenty years of experience in the industry, has been appointed as the chief technology officer at their company. Based in McLean, Virginia, A-TEK provides information technology services to government agencies. In her new role, Hair will be responsible for driving digital and technical strategies, overseeing the implementation of the company’s digital roadmap, and establishing strategic partnerships with clients.

Hair comes to A-TEK from her most recent position as the vice president of cloud at 11:59, a company based in Sacramento, California that focuses on providing digital transformation and modernization services to clients in the public and commercial sectors. Prior to this role, she held positions such as senior manager at Accenture Federal Services, market technology lead at Infinitive, and senior manager of cloud and big data analytics at Blue Canopy, which is now part of Jacobs Solutions (NYSE: J).

Freeland expressed her confidence in Hair’s capabilities and the value she will bring to the company. Her extensive expertise in digital modernization and cloud services will greatly enhance their ability to deliver innovative solutions for their U.S. federal government clients.
