Nebraska Cornhuskers Offer Scholarship to Junipero Serra High School’s Khary Wilder: Keeping Cali Connections Strong in the Red and White

Defenseive Lineman from California Receives Offer from Nebraska for 2026 Season

Nebraska Cornhuskers have offered a scholarship to 2026 defensive lineman Khary Wilder, who is a 6-foot-4, 250-pound prospect from Junipero Serra High School in Gardena, California. Wilder has also received offers from Arizona, Oregon State, San Jose State, Tennessee, USC, and Utah.

Junipero Serra High School has a history of producing talented football prospects, including former five-star players like John Houston, Rasheem Green, Robert Woods, Adoree Jackson, and George Farmer. The Huskers’ latest offer to Wilder comes after discussions with defensive coordinator Tony White and co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Glenn Thomas.

Currently, the Huskers have one commitment from a California prospect in their 2025 recruiting class: four-star quarterback T.J. Lateef from Orange Lutheran High School in Southern California. This is approximately 45 minutes away from Junipero Serra High School.
