Nebraska’s anticipation for the upcoming 2024 season against the UTEP Miners continues to grow with just 72 days left until kickoff. Today, we shine a spotlight on freshman offensive lineman Gibson Pyle, who is poised to make a big impact on the Cornhuskers’ line.
Standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 300 pounds, Pyle was a standout player at Klein Cain High School in Houston, Texas. Despite being rated as a three-star prospect by major recruiting services, he received scholarship offers from numerous schools including Arizona State, Duke, Stanford, and USC. Ultimately, he chose to join the Nebraska Cornhuskers and will likely use his true freshman season as a redshirt year to develop his skills.
As a newcomer to the team, Pyle may not see much playing time in his first season unless special circumstances arise.
