The Big East, a prominent basketball conference in the nation, is set to be featured on NBC Sports and Peacock during the upcoming season. Peacock will air 25 regular season men’s basketball games and five conference tournament games during the 2024-25 season. In addition, NBC Sports and Peacock will show a slate of Big East women’s basketball games in the following season, bringing the total number of games to over 60 between the regular season and conference tournament.
This agreement is part of the conference’s new six-year media rights deal that will run from the 2025-26 season through the 2030-31 season. Rick Cordella, President of NBC Sports, expressed pride in featuring both the men’s and women’s Big East teams on NBCUniversal platforms, highlighting the conference’s rich basketball history and looking forward to many memorable moments to come.
