NBA Ruling: No Foul Called on De’Aaron Fox in Final Possession Against Phoenix Suns

NBA findings show Fox was not fouled on Kings’ final play, despite original claim

The NBA has ruled that De’Aaron Fox was not fouled during the final possession of the Sacramento Kings against the Phoenix Suns. According to the Last Two Minute Report, Bradley Beal of the Suns dislodged the ball from Fox before any incidental contact occurred during Fox’s shooting motion. This means that the no-call on the play was justified.

During the game, with just 6.3 seconds left, Fox received an inbounds pass and began driving toward the basket. Beal tried to steal the ball from him, but with help from Devin Booker, Fox was able to keep possession and score two points to tie the game at 109-109.

Afterward, Fox expressed frustration with being called for a foul during his shot, feeling that Beal had clearly made contact with him. However, officials did not make a call on this incident either. Despite these missed calls, Coach Mike Brown praised his team for their performance and encouraged them to focus on winning their next game rather than dwelling on what could have been.
