Navy’s Spring Sports Season Comes to a Close
Navy’s spring sports season has come to an end, with the baseball team concluding their season with a loss to Army in the Patriot League Best of 3 Championship series. Meanwhile, Navy’s heavyweight rowing team finished 11th at the Eastern Sprints, while the lightweight rowing team finished seventh. The women’s rowing team finished second at the Patriot League Championship.
In terms of intercollegiate sailing, Navy had a successful week with both teams competing at the ICSA Women’s Fleet Race Championship and the ICSA Open Fleet Race Championship. The men’s track and field team also had a successful week, finishing third in their division at the NCAA East Preliminaries. The women’s track and field team also competed at the NCAA East Preliminaries, finishing fourth in their division.
Overall, Navy had a solid spring sports season, with several teams performing well in their respective championships and competitions. As they move forward into the next season, Navy will continue to focus on improving and building upon their successes in order to continue competing at a high level.
