Currently, the Nashville Fire Department is on the scene of a fire that occurred at a business located on Nolensville Pike. The NFD responded to a call at 4702 Nolensville Pike on Wednesday afternoon where firefighters are working tirelessly to extinguish the flames.
The owner of the building, which houses a clothing store, reported that one of his tenants was assaulted by an unknown suspect. The victim’s injuries were severe and she was taken to receive medical treatment. According to the owner, the suspect then proceeded to set the building ablaze before fleeing the scene.
In addition to fighting the fire, police are also present at the scene to investigate an alleged theft of the victim’s car. It is unclear what led to this incident or if there was any connection between it and the arson. The potential arson case will be left in the hands of the fire department for further investigation.
