NASCAR Playoffs Update: Joey Logano Secures Final Spot with Record-Setting Win

Nashville NASCAR Cup Results and Driver Standings

Joey Logano secured the final playoff spot with a series-record five overtimes win in Sunday night’s NASCAR Cup race at Nashville Superspeedway. Logano captured the checkered flag, with rookie Zane Smith finishing second, Tyler Reddick placing third, Ryan Preece in fourth, and Chris Buescher rounding out the top five.

Christopher Bell led for much of the race but crashed in the third stage, ending his five consecutive top-10 finishes streak and finishing in 36th place. Despite his dominance in both stages of the race, Bell was unable to secure a playoff berth through a win.

Logano’s victory moved him into the last playoff spot, leaving five spots open with seven races remaining. Alex Bowman currently holds the last playoff spot, with Bubba Wallace trailing by 51 points and Chase Briscoe further behind by 78 points. Kyle Busch sits 104 points behind Bowman, hoping to secure a spot in the playoffs as well.
