NASA’s Glenn Research Center Shines Brightly at Big Science Celebration Event.

NASA Glenn Joins COSI in Big Science Celebration

NASA’s Glenn Research Center recently participated in the Big Science Celebration event hosted by the Center for Science and Industry (COSI) on their front lawn in Columbus, Ohio. The event aimed to promote STEM careers and create a more diverse STEM workforce by introducing people to science and technology in their daily lives.

At the event, Glenn experts provided information on the Power and Propulsion Element for NASA’s Gateway lunar outpost. They also showcased interactive exhibits from Glenn’s Graphics and Visualization Lab, shared details about internships and careers at NASA, and discussed spinoff technologies that have benefitted the public.

By participating in events like the Big Science Celebration, NASA’s Glenn Research Center is working to inspire and educate the next generation of scientists and engineers. Through hands-on activities and engaging presentations, they hope to spark an interest in STEM fields and encourage more young people to pursue careers in science and technology.
