NASA Hosts Accelerating Informatics for Earth Science Event to Foster Partnerships between Commercial Data Developers and Scientists

Advancing Earth Science through Informatics Acceleration

On June 13, 2024, NASA will be hosting an Accelerating Informatics for Earth Science Event at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, VA. The main objective of this event is to promote the formation of valuable partnerships between commercial data product developers and the science community. Additionally, the event aims to explore innovative strategies for enhancing the processing of archived and real-time satellite data.

Experts from both the commercial and scientific sectors are encouraged to participate in this event. Informatics product developers with specialized knowledge in AI/ML, onboard data processing, data exploration and analysis frameworks, knowledge co-generation, data visualization, and other relevant tools are invited to attend. Scientists who are interested in utilizing and refining these analytics tools for Earth science applications are also urged to apply.
