Napoli’s Pursuit of Romelu Lukaku: Will the Transfer Window Bring Stability to the Team?

Dovbyk offer submitted by Napoli, with Lukaku still a priority for Chelsea

Girona has reportedly been approached by Napoli for Artem Dovbyk, with the club offering around €35m for the striker. However, Napoli’s main focus remains on securing a deal for Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea. The team is under the leadership of Antonio Conte, who has signed a three-year deal to bring stability to the team after a turbulent post-Scudetto season.

Conte has already begun planning for Napoli’s summer transfer window with sporting director Giovanni Manna. He is eager to reunite with Lukaku, who he coached at Inter and had great success with. Chelsea is currently asking for €44m for Lukaku, which could be a costly deal for Napoli.

Reports suggest that Napoli has put together an offer for Dovbyk, willing to pay around €35m for the striker. Girona is asking for €40m, and Atletico Madrid has also shown interest with a €25m offer. However, Napoli’s main priority remains Lukaku, and they are hopeful that Chelsea may lower their asking price as the transfer window progresses. The situation remains uncertain as the summer transfer market approaches.
