Engineer Artemus Rogerson noted that the new engine has eliminated the billowing black smoke that used to be a concern for passengers and residents.
The switch to a more environmentally friendly engine has also made for a smoother and quieter ride for passengers and crew members. Davis has plans to transition the entire fleet of trains to green technology by 2025.
