Myriad Genetics Expands Life Science Research and Development Footprint in Airport Technology Park, Securing $49.4 Million Loan

Drawbridge Lands Life Science Lease Expansion for 63,000 Square Feet

Myriad Genetics recently expanded its life science research and development footprint by 25% at Airport Technology Park in Salt Lake City, Utah. The expansion, which was secured by testing laboratory company Myriad Genetics, added 62,737 square feet to their existing lease of 234,144 square feet. CBRE represented the tenant in this transaction.

The building where Myriad Genetics is expanding is Building D at Airport Technology Park, which spans nearly 320,000 square feet and was constructed in 1959. The building was recently subject to a $49.4 million loan from Global Atlantic Financial Group according to CommercialEdge data.

Airport Technology Park is a large complex consisting of eight buildings totaling 1.4 million square feet. The anchor tenant at this 79-acre property is L3 Harris. Building D, where Myriad Genetics is expanding, is located adjacent to Salt Lake City International Airport and near major transportation routes.
