Montana Science Olympiad State Tournament Showcases Talented Young Scientists and Promotes STEM Education

Conrad, Chinook Middle Schools Set to Compete in Statewide Science Tournament – Hi-Line Today

Nearly 900 middle and high school students from 80 teams in Montana will be participating in the Montana Science Olympiad State Tournament at Montana State University on Friday, April 19th. The tournament features competitions in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) disciplines. Among the participating teams are Conrad Middle School and Chinook Middle School, both located within the New Media Broadcasters listening area.

In addition to competing for medals, students also have the opportunity to earn valuable recognition and experience. This event brings together talented young scientists from all over the state to showcase their skills and knowledge. The winning team will not only be crowned state champions but will also have the chance to compete at the national tournament later this spring at Michigan State University.

The Montana Science Olympiad is an excellent example of how education can inspire young people to pursue careers in STEM fields. Through hard work, dedication, and a passion for learning, these students are demonstrating that they have what it takes to excel in any field they choose to pursue.
