Mom on a Mission: Tamara Tippler Returns to the Ski Circuit with Newfound Determination and Support from Coaches and Team Members

Maternity leave over, Tippler returns to World Cup

Tamara Tippler has announced her return to the ski circuit and will be joining the women’s World Cup team once again, starting in May. As a new mom, she recently had her first racing experience of the year at the World Cup final in Saalbach, where she felt the excitement of being back in competition mode as a speed specialist. Although she took a maternity leave nearly a year ago, she never completely ruled out a return.

Now at 33 years old, Tamara is eager to dive back into full-on racing. She stated that her passion for ski racing is still very much alive after training with her teammates and participating in Saalbach as a forerunner. Her priority is to ensure that her daughter, Mia, is well taken care of while she travels with the race team. Tamara wants to prove that as a mother, she can excel in high-level sports and successfully balance family and career in professional sports. She knows it won’t be easy but is excited to take on the challenge and grateful for the opportunity to continue pursuing her passion for ski racing.

Head coach Roland Assinger expressed his support for Tamara’s decision to continue her skiing career, emphasizing her positive personality as a valuable asset to the team. Tamara is determined to make her mark once again in the ski circuit with the backing of her team ready to face any challenges that may come their way.
