MIT Students Shine in SkillsUSA State Competitions, Winning 16 Medals and Advancing to Nationals

Middle Bucks Institute of Technology wins SkillsUSA medals

Recently, technical school students from across Pennsylvania, including Middle Bucks Institute of Technology (MBIT), participated in the 2024 SkillsUSA State Competitions in Hershey. The event attracted a total of 41 competitors from MBIT who collectively earned 16 medals, including 10 gold, four silver, and two bronze medals.

The gold medal winners included Addisyn Adams, Brianna Grumm, and Brielle Zinn from Central Bucks South; Evgeny Ukraintsev from William Tennent; Allison Morey from Central Bucks South; Robert Miernicki from Central Bucks West; Vuluan Truong from Council Rock North; Charleigh Buckner and Cole Kleindienst from Central Bucks South; and Greg Milano from Archbishop Wood.

Silver medal winners included Brian Daly and William Tantum from Central Bucks South; Barry Cleaver from William Tennent; and Joseph Cronin from Central Bucks East. Bronze medal winners were Luke Ryan from Central Bucks East and Emma Hancock from Central Bucks West.

This achievement highlights the talent and dedication of the students at MBIT and other technical schools in Pennsylvania. Eight of the gold medal winners will be moving on to the National SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, in June.
