The San Leandro Police Department is urging the community to help locate a 68-year-old woman who has gone missing. Hongwei Yan was last seen near her residence on Clarke Street in San Leandro around 7:15 a.m. on Friday. She is an Asian woman with grey hair and speaks Mandarin.
Due to her mental health-related ailments, Yan may have Chinese currency on her, specifically Yuan or Renminbi. If you have any information on her whereabouts, please contact the San Leandro Police Department.
The police department is working diligently to find Yan and bring her back home safely. They are grateful for any assistance from the community in this matter.
