On April 9, Pham Thi Thu Dong was crowned the winner of Miss Beauty of Young Physicians crown – Miss HYPA 2024. The final night of the competition saw 29 contestants competing for the title, with Thu Dong emerging as the top contestant after over two months of competition.
During her behavioral round, journalist Vo Huynh Tan Tai questioned Thu Dong about her role in promoting specialized medical development in Ho Chi Minh city and emphasized the importance of retaining patients and reducing treatment costs abroad. Thu Dong highlighted the importance of constantly improving professional skills, communication, and behavior to enhance the image of medical staff in the eyes of patients and the public.
The final night involved various competitions, including identity costume, hospital uniforms, ao dai performance, and presentations. The top 5 finalists participated in a behavioral round where they were questioned by journalists on their roles in promoting healthcare excellence. Other titleholders included Dr. Tran Thanh Ngan, Dr. Le Thi Phuong Thao, Dr. Le Thi Kim Anh, and Dr. Ly Quynh Nga. Various sub-awards were given out for different categories during the event.
