Miramar Business Owner’s Grand Opening Thwarted by Vandals: Authorities Urge Information Sharing to Catch Suspect

Caught on camera: Thief caught vandalizing Miramar business twice in one night

A grand opening for a Broward County business owner in Miramar was thwarted by vandals who broke into his Forever Smoke Shop early Friday morning. The incident took place at 2 a.m., with surveillance footage capturing a man smashing the front windows and door of the business before fleeing the scene.

The owner, Anthony Pascariella, arrived to discover the extent of the damage and expressed shock that such an act would be carried out against him. He is the owner of a nearby tattoo parlor and described the affected business owner as a great guy who couldn’t fathom why he would be targeted. Despite his fear of retribution from the perpetrator, Pascariella declined to speak on camera about the incident.

Authorities urge anyone with information about the suspect to contact Miramar police or Broward Crime Stoppers. The vandalism has left the Miramar business community shaken and on high alert, as they try to recover from this unfortunate setback.
