Milan’s Unwavering Commitment to Sign Joshua Zirkzee: Navigating Agent Fees and Competition from Bologna

Milan Intensely Focused on Finalizing Zirkzee Deal despite Challenges

Milan is still fully committed to securing Joshua Zirkzee as their new striker, despite facing some complications in the deal. Despite Bologna’s efforts to keep Zirkzee for another season, Milan remains determined to bring the player to their team.

Milan believes that Zirkzee is the perfect replacement for Olivier Giroud and they are not actively pursuing any other striker options at this time. The fact that Bologna will be competing in the Champions League next season gives them an advantage in negotiations, but Milan’s main concern is the high agent’s fees requested by Kia Joorabchian.

Joorabchian is asking for €15m from Milan, which the club believes is too steep considering they would only be paying €40m for the player himself. Negotiations are ongoing to lower this fee, with Milan aiming to pay no more than €10m in commissions.

The absence of Zirkzee from the Netherlands’ Euro 2024 squad has given Milan hope that they can finalize the deal quickly. Despite the complications, Milan’s focus remains solely on securing Zirkzee as their new striker.
