Tyson’s camp attributed the episode to an ulcer problem. Following a follow-up consultation with medical professionals, it was recommended that Tyson engage in minimal to light training over the next few weeks before returning to full training with no limitations.
Despite not having fought professionally since June 2005, Tyson has been regularly training for years. He fought Roy Jones Jr. in a well-received exhibition match in Los Angeles in November 2020.
