Thanks to the support of Prisma Health Children’s Hospital – Midlands, Camp Kemo is returning to the Midlands for its 45th year. This free summer camp provides a week of activities for children with cancer or blood disorders, as well as their siblings, at no cost to families. The camp is fully funded through donations to the Prisma Health Midlands Foundation.
Camp Kemo’s theme this year is “The Great Expedition,” and it aims to give parents caring for children with cancer a much-needed break and peace of mind, knowing their children are in good hands with physicians, nurses, and other staff. The camp is scheduled to take place from June 10 to June 14 at Camp Cole in Eastover, SC.
