Miami Dolphins Fortify Defense and Special Teams with Signings of Linebacker Cam Brown and Former Bills Special Teamer Siran Neal

NBC Sports reports that the Dolphins have signed Cam Brown

Miami Dolphins added new talent to their defense and special teams by signing linebacker Cam Brown and former Bills special teamer Siran Neal. Both players have experience in the kicking game and are expected to play key roles if they make it to the 53-man roster.

Brown, a former 2020 sixth-round pick of the Giants, spent four years with the team before joining Miami. While he only played 103 snaps on defense for the Giants, Brown accumulated 1,328 snaps on special teams and served as one of the team’s captains. In his 60 regular season appearances with the Giants, Brown recorded 35 tackles, two forced fumbles, and three quarterback hits.

Neal’s signing adds depth and experience to the Dolphins’ special teams unit, providing them with more options and versatility in that area of the game. With Neal’s addition, the Dolphins now have a solid group of specialists who can handle various tasks on special teams.

Overall, the addition of Brown and Neal strengthens the Dolphins’ defense and special teams, adding new talent and leadership to the team. The signing of these two players is a smart move by Miami as they continue to build a competitive roster for next season.
