Meta’s Threads Social Network Now Integrates with Decentralized Platforms in Over 100 Countries

Now possible: Integration with Mastodon and other social networks through Threads

Meta’s microblogging social network, Threads, has recently introduced a new feature that enables users to like and view replies to their posts on other platforms. Prior to this update, if a user shared a post on Threads to a platform such as Mastodon, they were unable to see replies within Threads and were forced to switch between platforms in order to stay updated. With the addition of this feature, users can now make fewer platform switches. While users are currently unable to reply to replies directly from Threads, this functionality is expected to be available in the future.

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, announced that Threads integration with other social networks is now available in over 100 countries, an expansion from its initial availability in the United States, Canada, and Japan. Meta had previously signaled its intention to integrate decentralized social networking protocol ActivityPub since launching Threads nearly a year ago, with testing starting in December.

In addition to discussing Meta’s Threads social network, the content also mentions various casinos and online gambling websites. The article covers slots, poker, and other casino games available on different platforms. It seems that the content is a mix of promotional material for different online gambling platforms and informational content about Meta’s Threads social network.
