Meta Launches New AI Assistant for Europe: Promoting Ethical and Transparent AI Development

In order to respect user privacy, Meta made sure to exclude any private posts shared only among family and friends when training its AI virtual assistant. This approach shows that the company takes data protection seriously and is committed to ethical AI development.

During an interview with Reuters in September, Meta’s top policy executive revealed that the company is taking steps to inform Facebook and Instagram users in Europe and the United Kingdom about how their public information shared on Meta’s platforms is used to enhance AI technologies.
