The Philadelphia Eagles have recently signed another player from their 2024 draft class, defensive back Cooper DeJean. At just 21 years old, DeJean was selected as the No. 40 overall pick in the second round of the draft, coming from Iowa. His impressive track record includes being named the Big Ten defensive back of the year and the conference’s return specialist of the year in 2023. Additionally, DeJean has been recognized as a two-time, first-team All-Big Ten honoree.

During his college career, DeJean demonstrated his skills by recording seven interceptions, three of which were returned for touchdowns, and tallying 13 passes defensed. With his exceptional performance on the field, DeJean has proven himself as a valuable addition to the Eagles roster.

With DeJean’s signing, the Eagles have now secured contracts with eight out of their nine 2024 draftees. The only remaining unsigned pick is first-round cornerback Quinyon Mitchell. As the team continues to build their roster for the upcoming season, fans can look forward to seeing how these new additions will contribute to the Eagles’ success on the field.
