The National Press Foundation is thrilled to announce the 15 journalists who have been chosen for the Covering Workplace Mental Health fellowship, taking place on May 21-22 in Washington, D.C. During the fellowship, these journalists will have the opportunity to learn from industry experts in the fields of mental health and business. They will also be able to attend the Carolyn C. Mattingly Award for Mental Health Reporting winner’s reception.
The journalists selected for the fellowship come from a diverse range of backgrounds and publications, including Athena Ankrah from KJZZ 91.5 FM in Arizona, Sara Deeter from Inc. Magazine in Illinois, Suzanne McBride from Chicago Sun-Times in Illinois, Anna Medaris as a freelancer in New York, Remington Miller from Arkansas Democrat-Gazette in Arkansas, Pavithra Mohan from Fast Company in New York, Issac Morgan from State Affairs in Florida, Daniel Payne from Politico in Washington, D.C., Cheryl Platzman Weinstock as a freelancer and KFF Health News in Connecticut, Adrienne Roberts from Detroit Free Press in Michigan, Alander Rocha from Alabama Reflector in Alabama, Kristen Rogers from CNN in Georgia, Aditi Shrikant from CNBC in New York, Blanca Torres from KQED
