Rebecca Mink has recently been appointed as the Small Business Advocate in the Tennessee Comptroller’s Office. She joined the office in 2022 and has experience working in both the State Audit and Administration divisions, as well as in the Tennessee General Assembly and the private sector as a communications specialist.
As the Small Business Advocate, Mink will be responsible for assisting small business owners with 50 or fewer employees who interact with state government. She will provide information, answer questions, and help resolve issues between small business owners and state departments and agencies.
Tennessee Comptroller Jason Mumpower emphasized the importance of small businesses in Tennessee’s economy and expressed confidence in Mink’s ability to help business owners navigate government regulations. Mink herself expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity to support small business owners in their interactions with state government.
