Mayor Yemi Mobolade is set to deliver a proclamation on Wednesday, May 1 recognizing the week of April 29-May 3 as Small Business Week in Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak Region. The event, which takes place at the Catalyst Campus Harvey House, will feature a marketing panel organized by the Pikes Peak Small Business Development Center, Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC, and the Better Business Bureau of Southern Colorado.
Small Business Week is a nationally recognized celebration aimed at highlighting and supporting the contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners. In the Pikes Peak Region, this tradition has been going strong for over 16 years.
The ceremony will be streamed live starting at about 11:15 a.m., allowing viewers from across the country to witness this important event firsthand. This proclamation serves as a reminder of the vital role that small businesses play in driving economic growth and creating jobs in our community.
