May: A Month of Remarkable Video Game Releases

Highly Anticipated Video Games Coming in May 2024: Hellblade 2, The Rogue Prince of Persia, Ghost of Tsushima, and More

May is shaping up to be a remarkable month in the video game industry. Several highly anticipated releases are set to hit shelves, including “World of Goo 2”, “Ghost of Tsushima” expanding to new platforms, and the return of Warner Bros.’ fighting game “MultiVersus”. Independent games are also making their mark this month with long-awaited titles like “Little Kitty, Big City” and the retro horror game “Crow Country”.

But the highlight of May is undoubtedly the release of “Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2”. This exclusive Xbox and PC title is a sequel to the critically acclaimed “Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice”. Set in Norse mythology, players will follow Senua as she battles both external threats and her inner demons. The game is set to release on May 21 and will be available on PC GamePass.

Early releases in May include “The Rogue Prince of Persia” in early access mode on May 14. Developed by the team behind “Dead Cells”, this new rogue-like version of the classic franchise promises acrobatic combat and thrilling gameplay. Remakes are also making waves this month, with the arrival of the revamped PC classic “System Shock” on consoles and the release of “Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door” for fans of the franchise.

In addition, PlayStation exclusive “Ghost of Tsushima” will make its way to PC on May 16 in its “Director’s Cut” version, including the original game, the “Iki Island” expansion, and the multiplayer “Legends” mode. With a diverse lineup of games coming out this May, there’s something for every type of gamer to look forward to.
