Lawrence addressed these rumors during an appearance on Hot 97’s “Ebro in the Morning.” When asked about his reactions during the premiere, he explained that he was simply surprised by the size of the crowd and not experiencing any health issues. When asked directly about his health, Lawrence stated that he is fine and not in need of anyone’s concern.
Lawrence emphatically declared, “I’m healthy as hell. Stop the rumors!” Fans may have been worried due to his past medical scare in 1999 when he collapsed due to heat exhaustion and was in a coma for three days. However, Lawrence’s reassurances should put fans at ease as they await the release of “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” on June 7th.
