Martin Lawrence Addresses Health Rumors on Hot 97: ‘There’s Nothing Wrong with Me’

Martin Lawrence Addresses Health Concerns At ‘Bad Boys 4’ Premiere

Martin Lawrence recently reassured fans about his health on an episode of Hot 97’s “Ebro in the Morning”. Lawrence addressed concerns that arose after a video interview where he appeared to slur his words and an appearance at the “Bad Boys” premiere where some fans thought he looked unsteady.

During the interview, host Ebro Darden asked Lawrence about the rumors regarding his health, specifically referencing an incident at the premiere where Lawrence seemed surprised by the crowd size. Lawrence explained that he was simply taken aback by the massive audience and there was nothing wrong with his health.

Lawrence took the opportunity to address fans directly, stating that he is healthy and in good hands. He emphasized that there is no need for concern and urged people to stop spreading rumors. Fans’ worries may have been heightened due to Lawrence’s previous health scare in 1999 when he collapsed and was put into a coma.

The fourth installment of Lawrence and Will Smith’s action franchise, “Bad Boys: Ride or Die”, has received positive reviews from critics, with Variety’s critic Owen Gleiberman praising the performances of the two stars. The film is set to open in theaters on June 7.
