Marshmallow’s Hope introduces new program focused on adolescent mental health

The Winnebago County Community Mental Health Board has recently awarded Marshmallow’s Hope, a local nonprofit organization, over $1.2 million in funding for new initiatives to support youth struggling with mental health issues in Rockford, Illinois. This grant, funded by Winnebago County’s 1/2 cent sales tax for mental health, is a significant milestone for the organization as they continue to expand their services to address the critical mental health needs of young people in the area.

With this grant, Marshmallow’s Hope plans to establish a new Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) specifically designed to help youth dealing with mental and emotional challenges.
