Maranatha SDA Church Hosts Annual Community Health Expo, Empowering Attendees to Take Control of Their Well-Being

Community Health Fair Hosted by Local Church Offers Free Services

Maranatha SDA Church in Jackson, Tenn hosted its annual Community Health Expo at 360 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. The event took place from 1pm to 5pm and aimed to educate community members on healthy practices and disease prevention.

The expo attracted a large number of attendees who were able to access free services such as blood pressure and blood sugar screenings, as well as resources and information on managing various illnesses and making positive lifestyle changes.

Jacqueline Bright, the Health Ministries Assistant, expressed her gratitude for the community’s interest in learning about their health at the expo. She also highlighted the accessibility of the event for individuals who may not have access to medical care due to financial constraints. Professional nurses were on hand to provide the healthcare services and information needed to empower attendees to take charge of their well-being.
